Randy Bates responded:
Education has played an important part in my career. I have dedicated my life to ensuring quality education has been represented throughout District 139. I am humbled by this tremendous sign of confidence.
There is a special place in my heart for teachers. They are the foundation of each and every profession. As a former educator and former Lone Star Board Trustee and Chair for the Lone Star College System, I will continue to fight to bring better quality education for all students from Pre-K through Higher Education. I look forward to building a strong relationship with all school districts within District 139.
